Erica E. M. Fauser

Erica Fauser is an associate in the firm’s Houston office. Her practice focuses on general civil and commercial litigation. Erica has experience handling cases involving a variety of matters, including product liability and mass torts, complex litigation, insurance coverage and defense, corporate immigration, and real estate.
During law school, Erica was Editor-in-Chief of the University of Illinois Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration moot court team, where she led the team in competitions internationally across Europe. Erica also served as Editor of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court competition, and as the President of the University of Illinois chapters of the Black Law Students’ Association and the International Law Society. She studied abroad in the Netherlands at the Vrije University of Amsterdam, where she enhanced her knowledge in international commercial law, and she gained valuable experience in international commercial transactions while working as a global fellow with the in-house counsel at Kobe Steel, Co. in Tokyo, Japan. Erica is also committed to pro bono service and received the pro bono distinction from the University of Illinois for her service in promoting judicial transparency in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, and for her work with human rights nonprofits in Cairo, Egypt.
Outside of the office, Erica spends time with her husband, family, and Siberian Husky, Niko. She enjoys traveling, cooking, dancing, and rooting for her beloved Houston Cougars, Dallas Cowboys, and Liverpool F.C. Erica can speak Spanish and elementary Arabic (Egyptian dialect).
