Jay Chambers is an associate in the firm’s Dallas/Ft. Worth office. Jay maintains a general civil litigation practice, with an emphasis on appellate law and motion practice, and he has worked on cases involving contracts, life insurance, and consumer protection laws.
Jay attended the University of Alabama School of Law, where he served as a Senior Editor on the Alabama Law Review. He also participated in the school’s moot court program, winning the best brief award in the Campbell Moot Court Competition and serving as a member of the Campbell Moot Court Board and the Jessup International Moot Court Team.
After law school, Jay clerked for the Honorable W. Keith Watkins, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Alabama, and the Honorable Callie V. S. Granade of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Alabama. As a clerk, Jay managed a docket which included a diverse blend of cases and drafted opinions in cases involving, among other things, international arbitration, employment disputes, securities fraud, and constitutional law.
When Jay is not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and cooking barbecue.
