Nicole E. Su represents plaintiffs and defendants in various civil litigation matters. She joined McDowell Hetherington after clerking for the Honorable Andrew M. Edison, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Southern District of Texas, Galveston Division.
Nicole graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in May 2017. During law school, Nicole was an Articles Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law where her comment, The International Custody Battle: Conflict of Law between the Hague Abduction Convention and U.S. Asylum Law, 39 Hous. J. Int’l L. 433 (2017), was published. Nicole also served as a student attorney in the University of Houston Immigration Clinic, as president of the Asian Law Student Association, and as a member of the Moot Court team. An advocate for the Asian American community, Nicole currently serves as a committee co-chair for the Asian American Bar Association.
Nicole is a Texas transplant (originally from the Pacific Northwest) but is now proud to call Houston her home. Outside of the office, she can be found exploring the Houston food and coffee scene, playing flag football, or entertaining her snowshoe cat, Mocha.
