After earning her undergraduate degree from Smith College in Massachusetts, Ellison traded snow for humidity and completed her JD at Tulane University Law School in 2024. At Tulane, she demonstrated strong leadership and problem-solving skills as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Law and Sexuality, an Executive Chair of the Student Bar Association, and a student attorney in the Civil Rights and Federal Practice Clinic. These roles sharpened her ability to manage complex dockets, synthesize large volumes of information, and think strategically under pressure. She now brings these skills to her healthcare law practice.

As a member of McDowell Hetherington’s healthcare team, Ellison handles matters involving medical records review, healthcare compliance, billing disputes, and contractual analysis. She is particularly adept at identifying inconsistencies in dense documentation and navigating arbitration and regulatory nuances with precision. Clients appreciate her insight, attention to detail, and clear, practical communication.

Outside of work, Ellison is an avid mystery reader who enjoys solving puzzles on and off the page. She also practices yoga and Pilates and is a devoted Arkansas Razorbacks fan. She is often found lamenting the state of Razorback football.
