Fernando Berdion is an associate in the firm’s Houston office. His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, arbitration, and internal investigations, often working with energy-sector clients facing cross-border or multi-jurisdictional legal issues.

Fernando received his J.D. in 2020 from Stanford Law School, where he was on the Editorial Board of the Stanford Journal of International Law. He also received his M.P.P. and A.B. in Government from Harvard University.

Before attending law school, Fernando was also Fellow at the Carr-Ryan Center for Human Rights Policy, where he worked closely with Professor Kathryn Sikkink of the Harvard Kennedy School.

Fernando speaks Spanish and French. Originally from Austin, Texas, he grew up bilingually (English/Spanish) and has been fortunate to have been able to use his bicultural background in his client work, whether commercial or pro bono. Previously, Fernando worked at an international law firm in New York City.

Outside his legal practice, Fernando enjoys running, spending time with family, and exploring Houston.
