John Burnite is a seasoned trial attorney with over 25 years of litigation experience, predominately handling bad faith and insurance coverage matters.

John also represents insurers, plans, and employers in ERISA claims arising from group disability and life insurance disputes. His litigation background encompasses cases involving fraud, elder (financial) abuse, punitive damages, premises liability, product liability, rescission, interpleader, and declaratory relief. He also has assisted clients with suspected fraud and arson claim investigations by taking examinations under oath. He regularly defends clients in high stakes matters.

John has secured impressive results for clients at every litigation stage by winning cases on demurrer and motions to dismiss, summary judgment, and trial. He has engaged in every form of alternative dispute resolution to successfully resolve matters on terms favorable to his clients.
