Stefanos Touzos is a Partner in the firm’s Houston office, where he focuses on commercial litigation.

Stefanos frequently litigates cases across various industries—including financial services, sports and entertainment, and insurance, among others—securing key victories in complex commercial disputes in state and federal courts nationwide. Stefanos has represented clients in class actions; intellectual property, antitrust, and securities litigation; and white-collar defense and other litigation, including internal investigations and government inquiries.

Prior to joining McDowell Hetherington, Stefanos practiced as a litigator at an AmLaw 100 firm in New York, where he represented clients and government entities in both civil and criminal matters, including the Title III bankruptcy and related proceedings for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and its agents. During law school, Stefanos served as Senior Executive Editor on the NYU Journal of Law & Liberty.

Originally from Boston, Stefanos is now happy to litigate and watch his favorite Boston sports teams away from the New England snow. He also enjoys playing golf and tennis, listening to reggaeton and Greek music, watching British crime dramas with his wife Elizabeth (and their cat Ruth), and walking their dog, Olive.
