Tyler Brewster is a detail-oriented problem solver for his clients.

Prior to law school, Tyler served as the Special Assistant to former U.S. Senator Joe Manchin III (I-WV). While his job involved driving and accompanying Sen. Manchin in-and-around Washington, D.C., Tyler’s true role was to make Sen. Manchin’s life just a little bit easier. One of the Senator’s favorite phrases is “Think Like Dirt”, meaning, dirt gets everywhere – in order to succeed as a professional, you need to have impeccable attention to detail.

When Tyler left Capitol Hill to head to law school, he brought that skill with him. Over the course of his three years at the University of Houston Law Center, Tyler became known for his tireless work ethic and genuine desire to be a “helper”. After his first year, Tyler earned the trust of his classmates in being elected as the Student Bar Association President. Tyler also served as a Board Member on the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy. Just before his final year of law school, Tyler and his wife, Chloe welcomed their first son into the world, which immediately provided a valuable lesson in time management.

Tyler has gained vast experience litigating in federal and state courts, as well as in arbitration proceedings. Today, Tyler principally litigates issues affecting the healthcare industry, typically defending against claims for breach of contract and bad faith. He has also gained experience in other contexts, such as in defending against claims for breach of fiduciary duty and assisting his clients in responding to investigations being pursued by the government or regulators. As his career progresses, Tyler looks forward to using his experience, skills, and traits to consistently provide thorough advice to his clients.

Outside of work, Tyler treasures spending time with his family. In his free time – of which there is little with an infant and a toddler – Tyler enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, and watching sports, especially his beloved West Virginia Mountaineers, Washington Nationals, and Indianapolis Colts.
