McDowell Hetherington is pleased to welcome Emily Felix, William King, and Netra Sreeprakash to the firm’s partnership.

Emily Felix joined MH’s Arlington office in 2017 following her clerkship with the Honorable Hal R. Ray, Jr. in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. This judicial clerkship gave her valuable litigation experience, making her an immediate asset to both complex commercial disputes and financial services litigation. Emily is a member of the Order of Barristers and was awarded “Ones to Watch” in Commercial Litigation by Best Lawyers for 2026. She is a 2013 magna cum laude graduate of Northeastern University and a 2016 cum laude graduate of SMU Dedman School of Law. Emily credits this achievement to the immense support and dedication of her family and mentors.

Will King joined MH in Houston in 2023 and immediately became an integral part of the commercial litigation team. Since then, Will has capably tackled a diverse array of legal challenges, taken cases to trial with the firm’s partners, and consistently delivered efficient results for the firm’s clients. In addition to achieving outstanding case results, Will has been recognized multiple times by his peers, including his listing as a “Rising Star” by Texas Super Lawyers from 2018 through 2024. Will is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas State University (2007), received his law degree from Baylor Law School (2011), and is admitted to practice in Texas and California. Will is deeply grateful to his wife, Morgan, whose steadfast support and encouragement over the past 15 years have made this career milestone possible.

Netra Sreeprakash joined MH in the Houston office in 2023. Since joining MH, Netra has been an invaluable addition to firm, assisting on several class actions against firm clients. Equally impressive are her contributions to her community, which includes serving on the Fort Bend County Levee Improvement District 17 Board of Directors. Netra clerked for the Honorable Nanette K. Laughrey in the United States District Court for the Western District of Missouri and has been repeatedly recognized by her peers, as when she was named a New York Super Lawyers “Rising Star” from 2014 through 2017. She is a graduate of Vassar College (2003, with honors) and a graduate of Columbia University School of Law (2006). Netra is grateful to her husband, children, and both sets of moms and dads for their unwavering support.
