Houston, TX (May 26, 2023) – McDowell Hetherington is excited to announce Hope M. Young as its new Director of Recruiting & Professional Development. Hope will oversee and implement the firm’s law school recruitment program and lateral associate hiring initiatives. She will also be in charge of the firm’s attorney training program, in addition to the summer associate program.

Prior to joining McDowell Hetherington, Hope worked as Executive Director of Alumni Relations for the University of Houston Law Center. In addition to her work with the Law Center, Hope has served in recruiting and professional development roles at two AmLaw 100 firms. She started her career in Human Resources.

Hope holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and is bilingual in English and Spanish. She is based in the firm’s Houston office.
