In addition to its vast experience with traditional casualty policies, MH is also a leader in litigation related to the “gig economy”.  The gig economy refers to a labor market of freelance workers who work a “gig” to supplement their income or work as they please).  Frequently, gig economy casualty litigation involves unique fleet policies with high SIRs or retainers and touch on matters involving, personal injury, wrongful death, and employment/independent contractor issues. These cases frequently involve negotiations related to contributions from multiple carriers.
