Matthew Ryan is an associate in the firm’s Houston office. In 2020, Matthew graduated magna cum laude from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science. He then earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center, where he won the Tom Newhouse Mediation Competition, an in-school mediation competition. While attending law school, Matthew worked as a teaching assistant for Professor Chandler’s Constitutional Law class.

Outside of the office, Matthew is an avid University of Tennessee fan and enjoys watching the Tennessee Vols’ sporting events. His other hobbies include weightlifting, woodworking, and spoiling his dog, Juno.
